September in New Paltz is honestly my favorite time of year. The energy is just different when the tourist rush dies down a little and you can actually enjoy things at a slower pace.
Dana P.Completely agree. Being able to walk through town without dodging leaf peeper traffic is such a relief. The farmers market is so much more enjoyable too when it's not packed wall to wall.
