Grape Stomping Festival 2026 at Robibero Winery in New Paltz |
Get your feet dirty at this family-friendly harvest celebration with live music and local food |
Robibero Winery in New Paltz invites families to get their feet dirty at the Grape Stomping Festival on September 26-27, 2026. This beloved Hudson Valley harvest tradition runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days, and kids under 12 stomp for free.
What to Expect
The festival features barefoot grape stomping in wooden barrels — a hands-on (or feet-on) harvest experience that's perfect for families. Advance tickets are $25 (plus fees) and include grape stomping plus wine tasting or a glass of wine or sangria. Day-of tickets are $40 when available.
Non-drinkers can purchase a grape-stomping-only ticket for $20 at the door. The event is rain or shine, with covered seating on the deck, under a large tent, and inside the tasting room.
Food, Music, and Activities
Live music plays both Saturday and Sunday. Food options include wood-fired pizza, artisan meats, cheeses, and hummus. The winery offers wine tasting, wine by the glass or bottle, craft New York beer, and craft canned cocktails. Don't miss the Caramel Apple Sangria, available by the glass.
Families can enjoy lawn games, a bonfire, and the festive harvest atmosphere. Bring blankets or chairs for the lawn and a towel to dry your feet.
